The third modular home has been delivered to the Arbor Living Willowpool development in Cheshire on 2nd August 2021.
This is the third of five modular homes that are to be added to the existing Park Home development at Willowpool. This change in offering on this gated over 55’s development has been driven by market demand.
The modular homes are manufactured in Poland by Dan-wood a Germany company. They are shipped over in lorries and erected by a Dan-wood crew based in Scotland. The foundations, ground slab, drainage, external services, and hard landscaping have been procured traditionally from Tom Bagley Groundworks Ltd.
The shell of this bungalow is erected in 9 panels straight off the back of an articulated lorry by a 40T crane in a couple of days. The panels already contain all windows and external doors when delivered. The photograph shows the final external wall panel being swung into position only two hours after the first panel was lifted from the lorry. Two further articulated lorries deliver the internal wall panels, roof trusses and all materials necessary to complete the construction. The build from this point should be complete in six weeks.
