Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Leeds (Hybrid Working)
Salary £40 to £55k depending on experience

The Role:

As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the success of exciting and complex projects. You will provide cost management services, ensuring efficiency, value, and commercial viability for our diverse clients.

Key Duties Include:

• Managing project budgets and cost plans from inception to completion.
• Preparing feasibility studies and providing cost estimates for new developments.
• Conducting risk assessments and value engineering to optimize project costs.
• Advising on procurement strategies and preparing tender documentation including pricing
  documents.
• Leading negotiations with contractors and suppliers to secure favourable terms.
• Overseeing financial control and reporting, ensuring adherence to budgets.
• Preparing and reviewing contract documents, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Managing variations, valuations, and payments throughout the project lifecycle.
• Providing strategic cost advice to private developers on large-scale residential schemes.
• Conducting post-contract cost control and final account settlements.

What We are Looking For:

• Proven experience in quantity surveying, ideally consultancy for private developers.
• A relevant degree and professional qualifications (MRICS preferred).
• Strong analytical and commercial awareness in cost management.
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead project teams.
• A proactive and solutions-driven approach to project challenges.
