Job Title: Senior Building Surveyor
Location: Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire (Hybrid Working)
Salary: £40 to £55k depending on experience

The Role:

As a Senior Building Surveyor, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working on a variety of exciting projects. Your role will involve delivering a full spectrum of building surveying services while benefiting from flexible, hybrid working arrangements.

Key Duties Include:

• Conducting building condition surveys and preparing reports.
• Providing advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of
  properties.
• Preparing schedules of dilapidation and condition.
• Undertaking party wall matters and negotiations.
• Preparing and managing planned maintenance programs.
• Carrying out defect diagnosis and offering solutions.
• Managing construction projects, including design and contract administration.
• Handling insurance assessments and claims for properties.
• Supporting clients with feasibility studies and property acquisitions.
• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and building legislation.

What We Are Looking For:

• Proven experience as a building surveyor with a strong background in professional services
  and project work.
•  Relevant qualifications (e.g., RICS-accredited degree, MRICS status preferred).
• Strong knowledge of building pathology, construction techniques, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and client management skills, to increase client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach to tasks.
