Phase One Nearing Completion at Copeland & Craddock, Congleton

JCA Consulting is pleased to confirm that Phase One at Copeland & Craddock in Congleton is nearing completion.

Phase One delivered a new steel portal frame extension. We secured full Building Regulations approval and coordinated closely with the Approved Inspector and structural engineers throughout the process.

Our team acted as Principal Designer under the CDM Regulations and Contract Administrator under a JCT contract. We managed design coordination, issued contract documentation, reviewed progress on site, and authorised contractor payments. Regular site visits ensured compliance with structural, fire, thermal and drainage requirements.

Next Phases Confirmed

We are delighted that the client has asked us to continue with the next stages of the development. The upcoming works include:

Single storey office extension and refurbishment

Partial demolition of the existing structure

Refurbishment and height increase to the existing concrete frame

New front elevation extension to create a single large, unified unit

These next phases will transform the site and create a modern, expanded facility that supports the client’s future growth.
