Rawmarsh Retail Development, Anchored By Co-Op

MAW Consulting Limited are acting for Mumbles Group. To provide Quantity Surveying and Employers Agent Services on the development of approximately 10,475 sq ft of new build retail space. Comprising 6Nr units ranging in size from 4,000 to 1,000 sq ft, on the edge of a new residential development in Rawmarsh, Rotherham.

The plans show that unit 1, the largest unit on the proposals will be occupied by Co-op. It is also estimated that four full time and 14 part time jobs would be created by the scheme.

The proposal is in a preferred location for new retail development and has found favour with Rotherham Council planners. Uses could include retail, food and drink and hot food and takeaway. 

The project has detailed planning and is currently in the procurement stage with a start on site expected in 3^rd Qtr 2020.
