NORTHERN GATEWAY, DEESIDE UNDERWAY

Phase 1 of Pochin Goodmans infrastructure development commenced at the beginning of June, with commencement of site clearance and earthworks.

Pochin Goodman (Northern Gateway) Ltd is bringing forward new employment space on land to the North of the River Dee. The plans will bring significant investment into Deeside, delivering new jobs and boosting the local economy.

MAW are acting as Project Managers, Employers Agents and Quantity Surveyors to deliver new infrastructure to provide development plots for residential and industrial uses.

When the first phase is complete in early 2022 Phase 1 it will release land for the construction of 710 new homes on 3 development plots as well as facilitating follow on works to release land for industrial development.

The Infrastructure works comprises, enabling earthworks to prepare plots, approx. 800m of new Spine Road, new utilities and also diversion of overhead power lines as well as a new foul pumping station and associated pumping mains.
