Northern Gateway, Deeside: Water Outfall to the River Dee

MAW are providing consultancy support to Pochin Goodman who are part of a Tripartite agreement to deliver infrastructure, to enable the development of large parcels of land for Employment use.

Works are generally progressing well with the majority of the new access roads nearing completion, as part of the Developers Works a new outfall into the River Dee is to be constructed , not an easy task.

Works being carried out by D Morgan are comprising sheet piles and beams and struts  which create  a coffer dam  to allow the outfall to be constructed in a dry environment.
