Despite the Covid Pandemic and horrendous rain which came just at the time when the roofing works were underway, the new Veterinary School was handed over to the University on time to allow the new student intake to take occupation.
The new 57,000sqft building provides teaching facilities and a clinical skills centre. Incorporating both wet and dry lab areas with live camera links for live tutorials.
The design comprises a two and three story building with extensive landscaped external works.
The building utilises exterior copper cladding and a generous full height atria which provide an entrance focal point and informal learning and break out space.
