16 July 2025
At JCA Consulting, we believe in celebrating the people who make a difference. That’s why we were thrilled when our Business Manager, Trudy, became a finalist for Employee of the Year at the Staffordshire Chambers Business Awards 2025.
Right from the start, Trudy brought energy and focus. She didn’t wait to be asked. Instead, she stepped in, improved our systems, supported our marketing, mentored colleagues, and made our operations stronger.
Because of this, we put her forward for the award. Her hard work, leadership, and commitment earned her a place in the final four.
The gala took place on 10th July at Uttoxeter Racecourse. The evening brought together outstanding talent from across Staffordshire.
Our director attended the event to support Trudy. The venue looked fantastic. The food impressed everyone. The event ran smoothly from start to finish.
We didn’t take home the award. However, we felt incredibly proud to see one of ours stand among the best.
We’d like to congratulate Dr Robert Crookes from Lucideon, who won the Employee of the Year award. His achievements in materials science truly stood out.
We also want to celebrate our table guests, Podsmith. Their win in the digital category was well deserved. It was a pleasure to spend the evening with such a great team.
Being a finalist for Employee of the Year, such a competitive category is a big achievement. Trudy didn’t ask for recognition, she simply shows up, supports the team, and gets the job done. We’re lucky to have her.
This experience reminded us of the power of people. Strong teams build strong businesses. Trudy’s journey shows what’s possible with trust, hard work, and leadership.
We want to thank Staffordshire Chambers of Commerce for hosting a fantastic evening. We also thank Ornua for sponsoring the Employee of the Year category.
Finally, thank you to everyone who supported us throughout the awards journey. We feel proud to be part of such a thriving business community.
