JCA Consulting is currently working alongside The Ainsworth Collection, led by renowned Michelin-starred chef Paul Ainsworth and his wife Emma, providing Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent services and Interior Design Consultancy for the redevelopment of The St Enodoc Hotel in Rock, Cornwall.
The hotel has been a cornerstone of Cornish hospitality for more than a century. The ambitious redevelopment will see the venue transformed into a luxurious coastal destination, introducing new dining experiences, relaxing outdoor terraces and elegant event spaces. JCA Consulting’s Interior Design Director, Eve Cullen-Cornes, is working closely with Emma Ainsworth to create interiors that reflect the hotel’s coastal charm while elevating its modern luxury.
JCA Consulting’s involvement spans the full lifecycle of the project. Acting as both Quantity Surveyors and Employer’s Agents, the team is supporting every stage, from early contract negotiations and design coordination, through construction monitoring and regular valuations, to final account management, ensuring the project runs smoothly, on budget, and to the highest standards.
Jonathan Cornes, Managing Director of JCA Consulting, said:
“Working with The Ainsworth Collection on such an important project is a real privilege for our team.
“The St Enodoc Hotel holds a special place within Cornwall’s hospitality scene, and this transformation will help ensure its legacy continues for many years to come. We are particularly proud that expertise from Staffordshire — including Eve’s interior design leadership — is helping to deliver a project of this scale and profile.”
The redevelopment is expected to be completed in summer 2026.
