JCA Consulting is working with Ace Padel to deliver the first Stoke-on-Trent indoor padel courts, creating a new destination for sport and community activity in the city.
Ace Padel is investing £1 million to make Stoke-on-Trent a hub for this fast-growing sport. The new Cobridge centre will feature three double courts and one single court, giving the community access to a modern, purpose-built facility.
This project marks an exciting step forward for both local sport and regional investment.
From the very beginning, JCA Consulting played a key role in supporting the development. We provided the commercial acquisition survey before the site purchase, offering clear and detailed advice on the building’s condition and suitability.
Following completion, we carried out a comprehensive building condition survey to identify any essential works. This helped ensure the property would be safe, compliant, and ready for redevelopment.
Through this process, our technical guidance gave Ace Padel the confidence to move forward with their plans and begin the transformation.
The new padel centre is taking shape inside the former Magnet showroom on Elder Road. The building is undergoing significant improvements, including a new roof installation and extensive internal works.
Once complete, the venue will provide a high-quality sports facility for players of all ages and abilities. It will also breathe new life into a well-known local building, giving it a fresh and active purpose.
The Stoke-on-Trent indoor padel courts will set a new standard for community sport in the region.
Beyond the sport itself, this project will bring new jobs and activity to the local area. It will also offer residents a new place to stay active, connect, and be part of something positive.

The Cobridge padel centre is due to open later this year. It represents the first phase of Ace Padel’s wider vision to create 30 courts across the UK by 2027.
