Construction commenced on a new 366,000 sq ft Rula Developments distribution unit, together with associated office accommodation.
Work started on site in September 2021. The initial programme focused on progressing the groundworks before the onset of more challenging winter conditions.
Ground engineering formed an important part of these early construction activities. The project team progressed these works as the site began to take shape ahead of the main construction phase.
At the time of the original project update, the development was targeting completion during summer 2022.
JCA Consulting provided Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent services for Rula Developments. Our team supported the commercial and contractual management of this substantial industrial development throughout its construction.
The Rula Developments distribution unit represented a significant industrial project and added more than 360,000 sq ft of new distribution accommodation.
