To meet growing demand for the NHS 111 service in Staffordshire, Staffordshire Doctors Urgent Care (SDUC), part of the Vocare Group, required the phased rollout of new call centre facilities.

JCA Consulting were appointed as Chartered Building Surveyors, Designers and Project Managers to deliver a series of specialist fit-out and adaptation projects across multiple locations. These included two facilities in Stoke-on-Trent, one in Stafford, and a further call centre in Redditch.

The projects involved converting existing office premises into highly technical NHS 111 call centres, providing space for trained call handlers, clinical advisers, and consulting rooms. With strict NHS contract deadlines in place, JCA were trusted to deliver each project within extremely tight timeframes while maintaining quality and cost control.

• Campbell Road, Stoke (Phase 1):

• • Specialist fit-out of ground floor into consulting rooms and upper floor into a 111 call centre.

• Stafford Technology Park:

• • Space planning, design, and project management of internal alterations for a new call centre.
  • Completed to meet NHS operational deadlines.

• • Further expansion to meet increased demand.
  • Design and project management of alterations, fibre optic installation, and backup generator systems.

• Redditch:

• • Space planning, procurement, contractor management and furniture sourcing.
  • Delivered from inception to completion in just two months, under budget and on time.
