Over 55s Development, Lincoln – COMMENCES

Phase 4 of this prestigious over 55s development in Lincoln progressed with the construction of new energy-efficient homes for Arbor Living.

Located on the banks of the Fossdyke, the development comprised 13 traditionally built bungalows. Each home featured high levels of insulation and achieved an EPC rating of B.

Phase 4 included the infrastructure works and substructures for all 13 properties. The programme also included the full construction of six new homes. Arbor Living also retained options for additional plots, subject to demand.

Belvin Construction Limited was appointed as Principal Contractor for the works.

Favourable weather conditions helped the project make good progress during the early stages of construction. During the first month, the team substantially completed the cut and fill works. They also formed the main access road and progressed the excavation of the estate road.

Following these initial works, construction moved forward with the first property substructures.

The over 55s development in Lincoln created highly insulated new homes in an attractive waterside location. The project combined traditional construction with modern energy-efficiency standards to meet the needs of its future residents.
