JCA Consulting provided Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent services for Rula Developments on this major Oldham distribution unit, working alongside Readie Construction and its supply chain, BWB Consulting and AJA Architects. Ergo Real Estate funded the development.
The project delivered approximately 367,000 sq ft of new industrial and logistics accommodation. This comprised a 346,500 sq ft distribution unit together with more than 20,000 sq ft of associated office accommodation arranged over two storeys.
Working as both Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent, JCA Consulting supported Rula Developments throughout the delivery of the scheme. Our combined role provided the client with commercial and contractual support as the project progressed through construction.
The development required close collaboration between the client, contractor and wider consultant team. As a result, clear communication and effective project management remained important throughout the works.
The successful completion of the Oldham distribution unit added a substantial new logistics facility to the area and represented another significant industrial development for our team.
