Manchester Airport industrial development

JCA Consulting was appointed by PQ Developments LLP to support a new Manchester Airport industrial development. The site occupies vacant land close to the airport.

PQ Developments LLP represented a joint venture between Quorum Development Ltd and Northern Powerhouse Land Limited.

The scheme comprised four new industrial units. Together, they provided approximately 15,000 sq ft of new-build industrial space. The individual units ranged from approximately 3,500 to 4,500 sq ft.

JCA Consulting provided Quantity Surveying and Employer’s Agent services for the development. In addition, our team provided Project Management support. This combined appointment allowed us to provide commercial, contractual and project support to the client.

At the time of the original update, the project had reached the procurement stage. The team was preparing for the construction phase, which was originally due to start in early 2023.

This project was a great addition to JCA Consulting’s portfolio in the North West and demonstrated our ability to support clients across several disciplines within a single development.
