Makerfield Way Wigan industrial development

JCA Consulting supported the delivery of a new 45,000 sq ft industrial unit at Makerfield Way in Wigan, developed by Seddon Developments Ltd to create a new North West depot for Algeco, formerly Elliott Group.

The Makerfield Way Wigan industrial development created bespoke premises designed around the operational requirements of the modular building company.

The new industrial unit incorporates internal office accommodation alongside dedicated workshop and preparation areas. In addition, the facility includes specialist paint spray areas to support Algeco’s operations from the site.

Externally, the development provides more than five acres of storage and compound space. This substantial external area provides the capacity required to accommodate and manage modular buildings alongside the company’s workshop operations.

The combination of industrial, office and specialist operational space created a purpose-built facility capable of supporting Algeco’s activities across the North West.
