Further strong progress is being made on the new main entrance and office accommodation development at Lister Hospital in Stevenage, with the first floor planks now being successfully installed.
Following the recent arrival of cranes on site and the installation of the initial modular elements, the structure is continuing to rise at pace. The placement of the first floor planks marks another key milestone, forming the platform for the upper office accommodation and bringing the three-storey building closer to full structural form.
The scheme, delivered by Goldbeck for Noviniti, is visibly taking shape and demonstrating the efficiency of the modular construction approach. It is always encouraging to see the building evolving so quickly, particularly on a live hospital site where careful coordination is essential.
A very positive step forward, and plenty more progress to follow as works continue.
